The MityDSP Framework consists of individual pre-engineered interfaces (interface cores). They have been developed using an object oriented, modular design and can be quickly and easily integrated together to form a complete MityDSP based custom solution to your interface and control needs. Since these are pre-existing interface solutions they have been proven on multiple projects thereby reducing project cost, schedule and technical risk.

Each interface core in the Framework consists of an integrated I/O schematic, FPGA logic core, DSP software drivers, and in some cases PC application software or DLL. These components work together to provide a complete interface implementation from the interface connector up through and including a complete and convenient software API to write the application against. Please click here for an example of a full interface core including the components of the core and how they work together to provide a full interface capability.

The Framework includes support for communication protocols such as serial (RS-232 / RS-485), USB, and Ethernet. It also includes interfaces to a variety of industry standard Analog to Digital Converters, and Digital to Analog Converters, digital I/Os, timers, counters, LCD displays and motion control.

Each MityDSP project begins with an analysis of the interface cores that are available to meet project needs. If new interfaces or functions are required Critical Link either develops new cores to expand the toolkit, or works closely with our customer to develop the custom circuitry and/or programming to meet project needs.

Critical Link is continuously adding new interfaces to the selection of available interface cores, if your requirements are not currently addressed please feel free to check with us on the latest supported interfaces through our information request web form, telephone, or e-mail
