For customers who prefer to work with a complete off the shelf solution, Critical Link offers a Developer’s Kit for all of our System on Modules (SoM).  All developments kits are carried through distributors such as Digi-Key or Mouser to allow for quick and easy ordering.

MityDSP-L138/F, MityARM-1808/F, MityARM-1810/F, MItyDSP-6748F

The Industrial IO Development Kit is an off the shelf kit that features a wide array of interfaces to support the OMAPL138, AM1808, and AM1810 based modules from Critical Link.  This development kit allows developers to experiment with both MityDSP and MityARM modules. Included with each Development Kit is a MityDSP-L138 series module as selected by the customer. Also a SDK that includes a Linux virtual machine to accelerate the development process. MityARM-335x Development Kit

The kit comes with a MityARM-3359 module and includes a base board that features a strong array of interfaces such as USB, Debug RS232, Dual UART Expansion ports, HDMI Video Only Output, Audio Input/Output, MMC/SD, 8-Channel ADC and Dual CAN Bus interfaces. The MityARM-335x Development Kit includes both RS232 and RS485/422 expansion modules to use with the Dual UART Expansion ports.

 In addition a 802.11b/g/n Wireless with Bluetooth module and a LCD with touch screen are also available and compatible with this kit. MityDSP, MityDSP-XM and MityDSP-Pro

The MityDSP-DK (available for both MityDSP and for the MityDSP-PRO) includes an off-the-shelf motherboard (with basic I/O) and a range of available add-on modules, SDK (software libraries), and documentation. Using one of our Development Kits customers can easily plug and play, creating customized hardware tailored for their application.

After the concept has been proven, customers may elect to go ahead with production using the board as is (all modules are available in production quantities), or have Critical Link engineers create a cost-reduced design for lower cost of manufacture and built to meet specific application form-factor and power requirements.
